Hi Anne, hey let's talk more about you coming to Brasil. Where do you live
in the States? And what do you do for a living, just play and teach
clarinet? I'm about to move this month to another city (Curitiba) in another
state (Paraná) but just a couple of hours from where I live now (Joinville,
Santa Catarina, way in the deep south of Brasil).
I live in a town of about 1/2 million people and will move to a city of over
2 million. But that's good because I like life in the fast lane actually.
This new city is more known for a classic music scene since there are lots
of German, Polish and Italian descendents there. But folks play all the
Brasilian stuff too.
I should get to know the pros around town and let's see what happens. São
Paulo is like NYC and I know a lot of folks there and there is a city called
Campinas about an 1 hr inland from São Paulo with a good musical school at
one of Brasil's largest universities, a couple of friends are teaching there
now (drums and acoustic guitar)!! Let's see what we can get together.
Abraham
