Sue, don't worry about. A few years ago I was searching for A clarinets on eBay, and I actually bid on a Buffet "A" Paris, before I realized that it was a Bb. The owner was no help either. We live and learn.

BTW, Sue is the owner of a lovely Buffet A clarinet, built early last century. (It has the wrap around octave key). This clarinet has that lovely Buffet tone quality and good intonation. So much for the blow out theory. It's a lovely clarinet.
