That would be a significant change, as Jupiters have previously been made
in TAIWAN, and NOT China. (EVERYBODY is moving manufacturing off-shore
these days!) We carry that model in the store where I work and, while they
are difficult to sell since nobody has ever heard of them, they do play
quite well. The Parisienne model is their top-of-the-line, and appears to
be basically a Buffet copy. The overall quality and fit and finish of the
Jupiter woodwinds overall seems to be equal to or better than that of
American manufacturers. Their saxes are really quite nice, sound good, and
play right out of the box without further adjustment.
