Bear,
May I ask if you use Sibelius software with which to write your works? It
would be
interesting if you could post some of these works on their 'self-publishing'
site www.sibeliusmusic.com/ to enable us to listen to them. You would be
supplied with your own home page and photo (wow!), which would house your
C.V., your contact numbers, and links to your works for which you may set a
price, or even let them go free of charge. Sibelius set up this facility
free of charge for you. Your commitment is to share any forthcoming sales
50/50 with them. You retain all rights.
I believe Finale offer something similar, and Finale files can even be
listened to in SibeliusMusic, using the free downloadable software Scorch,
which makes it very easy for someone interested in your music to hear it
prior to purchasing.
To drop a name, Sammy Nestico has recently taken advantage of this scheme.
We await his scores with eagerness.
Best,
Tony W.
