I belong to a sea-kayaking internet list as well - which, interestingly,
have roughly the same value as clarinets - and EXACTLY the same sort of
discussions and arguments occur on that list!
Maybe the next major evolutionary step for mankind is to belong to enough
'lists' for long enough for us all to evolve to a higher state of
communication!!
