Ladies and Gentlemen, I'll have to agree with Elise here that it's bad
enough that Bryan now realizes he could have purchased an A for less =
money
than he did and he now needs to sell it for whatever reason, but I'll =
agree
that some of you have been extremely rude. I also say, "Shame on the
unscrupulous dealer who convinced anyone that this was an appropriate =
price
for the instrument." Is there anyone among us who has not had the
experience of making a major purchase, only to discover that they could =
have
gotten a better deal somewhere else? It happens to me all the time when =
I
need something, go out and get it and then it goes on sale the following
week. No one has politely asked Bryan if he would take less money for =
the
clarinet (at least not publicly). I also think it would have been =
enough
for perhaps one or two of you to gently suggest that the price was a bit
higher than the going rate. I think that point has been beaten into the
ground here in the past few days. Bryan also stated from the very =
beginning
that he had been unable to rent an A clarinet, which many of you have
suggested-even after he said it had not been possible at the time. I =
also
live in an area in which it would be extremely difficult to find an A
clarinet to rent. Trust me, I have tried unsuccessfully. =20
