Bryan must be a monster transposer! I checked out his website and a lot of
the rep he plays is for A. Bryan... where did you learn those transposing
skills? I'm serious. If you can do that, I wan't to learn how. Send me a
private email if you like.

-------------------------------------------

I had a student a while back who was playing the Husa Trio (A Tre?) on Bb
Clarinet for his chamber group and was transposing it. When he brought it to
a lesson and was doing that I just about fell on the floor - that's one heck
of a hard transposition and the kid was only 16. He got an A Clarinet soon
afterwards.

ps - the thing about the used A. Nobody in their right mind would pay $2500
for a used even if it were slightly used A Clarinet. Places like Weiner
Music, Muncy, WWBW and some private Clarinet Dealers who are Clarinetists
themselves are the places to get quality instruments not a music store who
either special orders a single instrument or has all of 2 to try and the
discount is 20-25% MAX.

That's no deal............. A place like I mentioned where you can
ship/order 3 to try, or go in like I did and try 50 is the way to go.

Bryan, this group is actually pretty friendly and welcoming. A bit
pessimistic at times as man of us have seen a lot in a seedy industry but it
is a welcoming group and I wish you well.

Maybe you should have just pulled out the mouthpiece, barrel and middle
joint for that audition and not have paid premium dollar for that A Clarinet
........ ;) (kidding, ducking and running)
