Brian,

Your price is HIGH. That's the point. There is no warrantee that I'm aware
of since you are a second party seller. You paid too much for the horn to
begin with. That's the trouble with buying an instrument from a local-type music
store. They jack up the price for one of two reasons I believe: Firstly,
they can't keep a large stock of instruments due to cost, so they have to sell
the instrument for more money. Secondly - and the one I hate - because they
think the buyer doens't know better. I have seen a lot of this. Some stores
try to sell (and sold) parents and/or uninfirmed buyers an R-13 for 2,800. I
think that is unreasonable and unethical. The problem with your horn is that it
is MORE than the going price for a NEW HORN from an actual retailer who can
guarentee the product. Just because you paid $300-400 more than you should, it
doesn't mean you automatically will get it back. Most likely, it will be a
loss. I would try selling it for less. Good luck.
