Can't help with the music, but "The Great Gate" painting (or perhaps
elevation) is reproduced at my Huntington Beach Concert Band site, free for
downloading. I often wondered about Hartmann's original
paintings. According to the source I used most of them have been "lost,
remain undiscovered or have been destroyed by time and neglect", but
Hartmann's design for the edifice remains with us. When I was preparing
notes for the page I ran across the reproduction of the Gate, so I included
it. I beseech you not to listen to the clip (if you watch it, turn off the
sound). I'm almost sure that the microphone was the one attached to the
camera. The sound is pretty horrible.
