Geeze Dan! How many do I have to write?? lol You
are a tough one. I respect that, but...
You were wrong. The discussion is absolutely about
boehm clarinets. And if you want to go down that road
and play devils advocate, which I think you enjoy to
some degree, the majority of the world is playing the
French system "boehm" clarinet. Out of that majority,
Buffet has the majority. I knew I would throw out
some facts and they would be denied for the sake of
denial. The list I compiled was literally off the top
of my head. Maybe they played Buffet for a reason. I
am not stuck on Buffet being the only horn. I own a
Rossi and Signature and love them. I was merely
stating FACTS. Here it is again, reworded to make some
of you happy: Buffet has been and is currently played
by more top players in the USA and France. Does this
make me happy? No. Sad? No. Care? No. I want to see
someone come up with a list of my magnitude. Fernando
did his best and had some great ones on there. He
also had some players on there who I feel aren't even
in the same league as people on my list. most of whom
are college teachers. That is opinion. The rest are
facts, Dan.
