<My teacher left a borrowed Buffet Prestige C clarinet in a cab once.

Speaking of C clarinets, last night in opera rehearsal we were =
rehearsing "Don Juan" and "La Boheme", which have plenty of C clarinet =
switches in them. I am the only player with a C clarinet. Our opera =
director liked the sound so much he asked what made my playing different =
from my section mates. Seeing that we are all pretty equal talent-wise, =
I told him it must be that I was using a C clarinet where it was =
indicated. He wants to rent C's for the other players for the season. =
He said he didn't realize that C clarinet could make that much =
difference!
