Well in my neck of the woods (or at least the players that I know) there
are more Boosey and Hawkes instruments than anything else. More than
everything else put together I would guess.

Hello,
to continue this "thread" of "local samples": I'm a college
clarinettist, we
are 6 clarinettists here and all of us use Buffets. All of the previous
clarinet-students I know from the past 4 years here use Buffets. Our
teacher
uses Buffets, and I believe all of the clarinettists in the military
band
(recently gone civillian) that he plays in use Buffets. In the
clarinet-choir
we have here - comprising of around 25 clarinettists - there are almost
exclusively Buffet players. And I also know Jazz-people who play
Buffets.
