To me this "feels good" (literally) is actually a problem in selecting =
an=20
instrument. I find myself being influenced by the setup (ring heights,=20
etc), factors that can be changed, more than I should be when trying=20
instruments.

Gary

Gary,

Ring height can be changed by the size and the shape can't (without a =
lot of tedious work). When I bought my Patricolas, I wasn't looking for =
a change in ring size and shape. But when I tried them and "felt" the =
difference in the size of Patricolas rings and their shape, as opposed =
to my Buffet's, it was one of those "feel good" things that convinced me =
of what to by "for me". They were a much better fit. And the keywork =
was of better workmanship, which I wasn't looking for either.
