If you want to add a subjective set of criteria....do by all means.
And yes....objective criteria can be applied to elements of all forms of
art...including music. This applies (especially) to the tools used to create
the art.

"Objective"? When discussing music? Would "thoroughly considered in
advance" be a better phrase?
