I play Selmers. Had two Buffetts, a LeBlanc, a B&H-----one of my Buffetts
was a really out-of-tune instrument, and the other was great, but finally
died after the top joint crack went into a tone hole and I couldn't keep it
closed anymore with black gaffer's tape!
I am playing a new 10-G, and an old 10-G that is cracked in 9 places. I
love the sound and intonation on these clarinets!
Buffets were great for orchestra pit work, but for soloing, I like Selmers
best. They also seem to be more durable.
