AMEN to that! My Mac Cube has crashed once, requiring a 45-minute fix, in
the two years that it's been running 24/7 (OS X, of course, updated
regularly); I upgraded my PowerBook G3 to OS X about 6 months ago, and so
far not even a hint of trouble. Of course, there was absolutely no trouble
with it for two years before that, on OS 8 and 9. Macs may cost a bit more
than the cheap garbage being peddled by the Windows people, but in terms of
total cost of ownership, Windoze can't begin to compete.
