For anyone who's ever put out a CD, do you have any recommendations for
mastering houses or audio engineers that digitally master CDs before they go
to the manufacturers? I would prefer someone in the southeast (i.e.
southwest VA, NC, east TN, upstate SC or GA) but that's not absolute.

I'm releasing a CD in about a month and am looking for mastering houses who
have had clarinetists or classical musicians as clients. All the people down
here in Charlotte have only been able to provide me with examples from pop
artists, rock bands, and gospel groups (which is no help), and many won't
allow me to have a consultation or sit in on the mastering session to listen
to the output on various sets of speakers. That's kind-of sketchy to me, so
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with that and could offer a
recommendation.

I'd appreciate any suggestions!
