Ian,

If you are close to a university with a dental school, go there. They can
advise you what is the best course of treatment. The reason I suggest this
over someone local is that the UK is somewhat behind the times
where"modern" dentistry is concerned. If you want to know why I say this
write back off-line and I'll answer. The newest procedures will be
available at the dental school for certain.
