Oh dear, I recognize the humorous intent and the grain of truth that
applies in certain cases, and this is off-topic, but I must say a few
words. Perhaps I'll figure a way to bring clarinet music into this as
I type.

Actually... I dreamt up a half-dozen witty replies involving clarinets,
but out of respect for the fair sex --- who, by the way, *do* give us
men a hard time sometimes as well, and I wonder which way the knife cuts
best? --- anyway, out of respect for the fair sex, I'll point out that
there is more than one successful strategy for attracting women, and
first we should decide what sort of person we want to attract. I once
witnessed a lady chasing a man around a doctor's office with a loaded
pistol. That's not the sort of lady that I'd want to attract.
