That's an excellent point. I only meant to place the M15 on the scale of what stiffness works best (comparitively), but it is a dangerous road to go down. Too often, players get caught up maintaining or increasing the strength of their reed, believing that it makes a difference. I myself recently switched to a mouthpiece that caused me to go down a strength and a half of V12s. I don't regret it a bit because I love the new mouthpiece and found what will make it work.
