They are normal Buffet barrels modified by Guy hiself on his lathe. When I
visited him he had several boxes stacked up from Buffet of barrels awaiting
his touch.

I found a visit well worth my time and money. Guy drilled out my stock
Buffet R-13 barrel and glued in a tube of mouthpiece material. He then
modified that while I played each pass. The result was incredible. Power and
tone as I never thought possible, even though I was playing on a Clark Fobes
San Francisco mouthpiece that I had just bout and had about 5 minutes of
playing time on.

I think the address work, but he is busy like you would not believe. I think
I was extraodinarily lucky to be driving through Connecticut on my was to
NYC and get him by cell. He agreed to see me that day after confirming that
I did indeed have my stock 66mm barrel with me.
