I can't say that I have had much trouble with it myself. Probably LESS
trouble than with Easy CD Creator!

When you buy a new turntable these days (Yes, you really CAN buy new
turntables!) they often come with their own built-in preamps, since many
receivers and amplifiers these days lack phono inputs. Personally, I run
my turntable through my old receiver and record from the tape outs to the
sound card.
