I figured if I mentioned this, somebody would do a doo-doo dump on me.
But I was young, inexperienced, did not have intelligent guidance, and
Grofe told me to do it. No kidding, but he would have told me to play
it on an accordion if I asked. He was much more liberal then, then I am
now.

So go. Have your fun. Dump on me for the indiscretions of my youth.
I'll live to get even. But I also playe it on B-flat bass many, many
times. It's a stinker.
