On the website with the URL of www.jpc-music.com I noticed what was to
me a very interesting recording by Dieter Klöcker. It is entitled
"Esquisses Hebraique," Clarinet Quintets on Jewish Theme.

Apparently Simeon Bellison commissioned a number of quintets for
clarinet and string quartet in the first half of the 20th century and
nine of these (to me) completely unknown works have been recorded by
Klöcker. The compositions are by Gurovich, Weinberg, Gardner,
Gorodetsky, Krein, Secunda, Levenson, Gretschaninoff, and Binder. I am
not exactly certain of the contents of the disk because its organization
is not made clear on the brief description as given on the indicated
website.

What is clear is that the price of the disk with shipment is almost $50.

I tried to find this disk on Barnes & Noble and could not do so. It is
on the "CPO" label with record number DDD,98 (I think - another unclear
aspect of the advertisement). Does anyone have any information about
this disk and its availability in the U.S.??
