If you look at the Buffet and Penzel-Mueller ads linked to from the
Albert system Web pages (http://www.geocities.com/siverleafjb/clarinet2.htm),
you will see that this ring was a frequent addition at one time on the higher-
priced Albert system instruments. I think it appeared later on some
Selmer "Centered Tone" Boehm instruments, too.
