The FloridaMEA splits it's all-state bands into Symphonic(11 &12th) and
Concert (9 & 10th) because there are so many kids trying out.....great idea, I
think, and I'm surprised they don't do it in Texas. (They do the same thing with
Orange County[Orlando area] All-County band, since it's the second largest
district in the state, and the 6th largest in the country).

The Concert band etudes always used to be from the Rubank Advanced Vol. II
until this year, when they just started using the Rose 32 etudes....they are
playing #1 and #6. The Symphonic band etudes have always been the Rose 32, and
this year they are playing #17 & #24.
