The Fobes Debut is acrylic; I don't know if that's the same as "plastic"?
My woodwind guy sold me one several years ago, and at that time,
in that store, the price was $21.95 and he told he it was a better
mouthpiece
than a lot of $75 ones. He was right.
The only problem I had with it was I didn't play with a mouthpiece patch and
I wore a deep groove in it! If you use a patch it won't be a problem. And
it's
so affordable, you could buy one and use it while you shop around for a good
hard rubber one.
Sue (who knows Clark's Debut is not just another plastic mouthpiece)
