Tom Ridenour is a big advocate of double-lip playing, and he uses it for some
students to fix their single-lip embouchures....my sister benefitted from
this training. What he says about the improvement of the sound and the greater
control makes a lot of sense to me, but I have a very short upper lip, and
have difficulty making it fit over my teeth.
