how sharp are we talking? If it's just a bit sharp, pull your mouthpiece off
more. If it's heaps sharp, try a different mouthpiece. If it's an old horn
(pre 1950's) has it got HP written on it somewhere? If it does, it's
basically useless for ensemble playing as it is tuned to 458 not 440.
