If you have the patience for long tones, they'll be a good vehicle for
getting things set at the beginning of your practice sessions - emphasize
chalumeau and the lower "clarion" range (don't go too high right away). But
then move on to easy technical studies or repertory, playing slowly - well
under the tempo you *can* play, just to get the focus back in your
embouchure without adding the tension that will come from trying to play
fast or difficult music - so that interval connections and light
articulation also become part of the process. A few days of strengthening in
this way will leave you as well off as before - maybe better for having had
the rest period.

I've often heard that many players of the generation before mine, who didn't
have 52-week contracts or guaranteed summer work, routinely put their
instruments away when the season ended in May or June and sometimes didn't
touch them until their orchestras re-assembled in September (many needed to
hold non-musical summer jobs just to make ends meet). Year-round contracts
in the major orchestras, as least here in the U.S., only date from the 1960s
or so. I suspect your problem is one many of those musicians dealt with
annually. Everything will come back more quickly than you probably expect.
