Arguably, the acoustics of pavilion at Ravinia aren't significantly worse
than those of Symphony Hall, where folks have complained for years about the
sound.

I have been to Ravinia several times since moving to Kenosha a couple of
years ago (most recently to relive my youth by listening to Peter, Paul and
Mary), and have only sat under the pavilion roof once (Norah Jones, earlier
this season). We can take the train right to the park, and enjoy the people
watching that is part of this thoroughly pop event.

Serious concert setting? Not really.
Lots of fun? For my family, absolutely.

Unfettered by coastal bias,

Bill Page
Kenosha
