To further clarify my previous statement about being disappointed that The
CSO played outside let me say:
I agree with Mark the there is a time for both types of performances. In
my case with the CSO, though, since this will be one of the few times in my
life that I will ever be in Chicago, and if given the chance to experience
the CSO, I certainely want to have no distractions. I believe that music
should be a part of our every day life and to have music in the background
during a picnic would be great and so would the conversation with those who
chose to dine with me. But not THIS time.

Walter had great news for me though and after an internet search for more
info., I find out that a large portion of the concert is under roof with
traditional seating for more money of course. So it looks like I may get to
enjoy the concert. At this point it looks like Brahms symphony #2 in D major
if every thing works out OK
