O it happens a lot. The list gets set up and the owner disappears. Yahoo
will not do anything about it. Sometimes the owner can disappear without
meaning to: it happened to me once during a change of email address. One
list I know the owner actually died and posted to the list as he was dying
(heart attack). Quite genuine, that, people on the ground confirmed it.

Anyway, my husband (who is an even better list owner than I am, modest
aren't I!) and I are going to set up a list on Yahoo. If the listowner here
is willing, I will post the url. I expect it to be up and running tomorrow.
