Hey Christy, Your band sounds like the one I play with. Half of our people don't make it to rehersal some of the time. We reherse on Tuesday nights and out of 9 clarinets---- at last rehersal we had 7, 3 1st,3 2nd,(I play 2nd) and 1 3rd. Out of our flute section,usually 6-7(2 double on piccolo)only 2 showed up. No Eb clarinet,no Eb alto(if the band would "get" the horn,I'd double on it and Bb). Our bass clarinet player is in the reserves and has been out all summer.
