Mr. Grainger's "Molly on the Shore" is a rad piece for the clarinet section.
Of course, if your section is weak this year it may not be the best idea to
highlight the section. But it's still a beautiful piece.

Does anyone have any favorite band pieces that feature the clarinet section?
How about favorite clarinet quartet or choir pieces that have some popular
appeal? Our civic band is really good this year, although the clarinet
section is a bit weak. We got a standing ovation last night! I think it's
the first one we've had in the 4 years I've played with the band. I'd
really like to work with the clarinet section as a group but I need
something specific to work on. Ideas anyone? (I also need to get the
music)
