I read a bunch of letters he wrote to his girlfriend when I was in college.
He had a serious mother fixation. Loved her more than anything. Kind of
like Principal Skinner. I heard a rumor that he used to compose naked
inside his piano. He didn't mention that in his love letters. He was a
cool guy. My Bb clarinet's name is Aldridge and my little eefer is Percy.
I used to have a photo of him up in my studio. Quite a looker.

Interesting! I know a woman in town who's father knew Percy Grainger and
apparently, Percy Grainger used to stay at their house a lot when she was a
kid. I believe it was during the time of the Interlochen summer camps. She
said Percy used to hang out in the house all day without ever getting
dressed. He used to play and compose music in his PJ's all day. Gosh, now
I wonder if there is even more to this story! Hmmmm!
