Subj: [kl] tijuana bibles and basset horns

Yes Dan, you can! I am now fascinated by these tijuana bibles in which you
speak of! You say they sell them at Boarder's? Will they ask pure, innocent,
17 year old me for an ID to prove my age is 18 if I try to buy it? I am very
interested to see this! I'm interested in the clarinet position, but I will
never do it as I suspect the clarinet is used for something other than what
it was intended for. I'm assuming that it isn't a good porpose either
because it is keyless? I'm scared, but my curiosity has been arroused!

By the way...I love your basset horn! Keith Bowen sent me a picture of the
two of you and your basset horns. My birthday is December the 21st! It will
be my 18th birthday, which is a special birthday! hint hint!!!

How similar is the basset horn to the alto clarinet? My teacher (whom I
suspect doesn't know too much about them) said that since I am so good with
alto clarinet that maybe I should get into some basset horn playing. You
seem to be an expert on the subject. Mind sharing your opinion? How much did
you pay for your's?

Thanks a ton!

-Rebecca
