My wife's best high school - age piano student started with much the same
attitude.about 7 years ago.. She was hopeless, but interested. About 3
years ago everything began to click- maturity, technique, musicality -
especially musicality. I can only assume that my wife saw (heard) something
in the girl. I would have given up after the first painful year.
