It is a standard psychoacoustic principle that "louder sounds better." It
makes shopping for audio equipment difficult because, unless the levels are
perfectly matched, whichever speaker, amp, etc., sounds louder to you will
be preferred. And don't think the salesmen don't know this!

I like the sound of the B45, but not the intonation. I also think its
relatively long facing makes it a LOUSY choice for beginners.
