My guess is that it is a junky Chinese lamp base clarinet. At that price=20
for what appears to be a new instrument, it could hardly be anything else!

Is it possible that "conductor" is a translation of a word that would read
in English as "director"? If so, could this clarinet be a Conn Director?
My first clarinet, which my father purchased new for me in 1958, was a
wooden Conn Director. Conn sold it as an intermediate instrument. It was
available in either grenadilla or plastic, but I believe that by about
1962, Conn discontinued the wooden model and the Director was only
available in plastic after that...
It is unlikely to be a Conn Director, since they would not have translated=
=20
the name for out-of-country sales, and it looks like a NEW instrument, with=
=20
key sculpting unlike the Conns. Clarinets have not been produced under the=
=20
Conn name in years. UMI (now Conn-Selmer) has only been making them under=
=20
the Armstrong and Artley names for many years, and now, I believe, only=20
Artley. The Armstrong name is now for flutes only. But I digress...
Avoid unfamiliar brand names on eBay musical instruments unless all you=20
really WANT is a lampbase, wall-hanging, or theater prop.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
