I think it's kind of like trying to work on the weekends. You're on
vacation; your brain is functioning differently now. Try playing some
different stuff. Maybe things that you haven't worked on in a while.
Something simple, but fun. I wouldn't worry too much, most of your fellow
band members haven't even picked up their instruments over the summer and
you'll be miles ahead of them all. Unless they went to band camp, but
 that's a whole nother thread. :)

 Have a Nice Day!!

 Subject: [kl] summer practicing

Kimber here, and I have a question about summer practicing (obviously
;))hehe...anyways, school's been out for a while, and I've noticed that
while I practice everyday, I seem to be getting worse rather than
better...it's really bugging me. I'm having the exact same problem with my
flute. My grandpa just passed on a few weeks ago, so it could be that I'm
distracted, but I find this problem every year. I absolutely sound horrible.
I can't play at the same speed, I have trouble memorizing music, I can't
play a passage right when during the year I could play it in my sleep,
etc...it bothers me so much, adn I'm wondering if anyone knows why or has a
similar problem but knows how to cope with it, or something?
lol...desperate, that I am. I couldn't live without my music, and the way it
sounds now bothers me greatly. My mom and friends and such say it osunds
great, but not to me. It just isn't of the same quality as it is in school.
So, pleasse, if you can, help!!!!lol
 Blessed Be,
 Kimber the Wrestler
