The movie "Last Orders", with Michael Caine, Bob Hoskins, has a wonderful score that features a smallish ensemble with some WONDERFUL bass clarinets solos.

It's almost like the bass clarinet is a character in the film.

The score is by Paul Grabowsky. I did many Google searches to see if the bass clarinet player was this John Surman. I could not verify it.

The movie credits DO list the musicians, but since I saw the movie about three weeks ago, I cannot remember.

Whomever is playing the bass clarinet on that score if a very superior clarinet and musician. I'm wondering if anyone can find out for us.
