Jim,

Sorry to hear of you problem with neuropathy. My father suffered with it
for years. I was going to suggest getting in touch with Audrey, but I see
she has already gotten to you. Her suggestion is a good one (occupational
therapist). I have carpel tunnel problems myself and the occupational
therapists were a great help to me. She's also right about a university
setting. I went to Johns Hopkins myself. They sent me to the Curtis Hand
Center across town (in Baltimore) where the OT people made splints to use
while playing and gave me exercises to do post-surgically. I realize
surgery won't help you, but sports medicine clinics have people who are
trained to do just what you need help with. Follow Audrey's advice. It's
your best bet. Good luck.
