I would insist on going to an occupational/physical therapist for exercises
that might help your condition. It can't hurt the situation and may help. Do
some asking around and find out who specializes in hand/finger problems. Try
getting in with your local university if you're near one. They'll have sports
medicine doctors who treat team injuries and a university sports medicine
clinic. Those therapists are very well trained and specialized (I know from
personal experience).
Sorry to hear you've developed neuropathy - do your best to keep those blood
sugars low and stable!
