Jason, Are you playing the same clarinet you used back in high school? If
so, the clarinet has been sitting unused in the case since you played it
last (am I correct in assuming this?) If so, your clarinet most likely has
dried out pads and needs new ones. You need to run, not walk, to your
nearest friendly clarinet technician (there are several on this list) and
have an overhaul done on the instrument. You will be happy you did.
