Yes it`s me again,
UK radio this morning played a 1966/7? recording of the Malcolm Arnold
Divertimento for flute, oboe and Clarinet. Personnel was James Galway, Tony
Pay, and oboist who I didn`t catch a name for. I used to perform this also
in the `60`s, and shamefully have to admit that I`d forgotten all about this
charming and joyful work. The playing was needless to say, of the same
calibre also.
I think it fair to say that most, if not all, would enjoy this recording if
it is still available, possibly on CD.
