I don't know this work; but I saw Jean Kopperud perform several times (in
large and small theaters) about ten years ago. She mixes very good clarinet
performance with theatrical elements. (She learned to skydive so that she
could be filmed playing the clarinet while actually floating through the
air.) She also plays an "electronic clarinet" in her performances. She
sometimes plays in skin-tight clothes; but I haven't, as yet, seen
less. She does have the body for it though.
