Beautifully stated, Ben. Thanks for a thoughtful post that addressed
specific concerns. I always learn a great deal from reading your posts.
I suspect that the situation I mentioned in my post probably veers more
into the area of utilizing engineering to cover up lack of personnel as
well as poor orchestration vis instrumentation of the group. I do know
that it was NOT a pleasant situation to perform in, simply because,
regardless of how I might attempt to play, I couldn't hear myself or
much of anyone else. ;-)
