Richard, I have 2 Sharp MD-MT15 mini disc recorders I got from Ubid. I
use a PC microphone with an on/off switch that I purchased at Radio Shack
no. 33-3026. Total cost was about $75 plus the cost of mini discs. I'll
send a sound file to your private e-mail of our woodwind quintet so you can
hear what the recordings sound like. People have been very impressed-with
the sound quality, not necessarily the playing but you might enjoy that
also.
