Dear Tony:

What I have always enjoyed in dePeyer's concept is his ability to attack and
create a believable phrase. Some clarinetists sort of just play too smooth
depending on the music, with dePeyer there is always the feeling the sound
is suited to the phrase.

He always plays with a fine sense of rythmn as well.

I do know professionals who cannot produce or do not want to produce any
vibrato for anything! It may make it tricky depending on the work they want
to do...

Sincerely
David Dow
